Rugged versus Commercial-Grade Computer Solutions

Itronix Corporation, in conjunction with Venture Development Corporation (VDC), completed a Total Cost of Ownership study (TCO) comparing Rugged computers to Commercial-Grade computers in the Field Service market. The resulting data, along with TCO data provided by Gartner Research and Itronix product performance data, is summarized in the Itornix TCO White Paper below.

Briefly, the conclusion reached in the VDC TCO study was that a significant Total Cost of Ownership advantage is obtained on a five year cost comparison by using Rugged computers in Field Service environments rather than Commercial-Grade computers.
